Denon

Now we will want to install Denon in our project so that we do not have to restart our server manually every time we make a change. deno install -qAf --unstable https://deno.land/x/denon@2.4.4/denon.ts

After Deno v1.10.0, the --watch flag is no longer unstable. You can simply run: deno run --allow-net --watch hello.ts to get this functionality if you're running a version greater than or equal to v 1.10.0.

I'm running v 1.11.2 and the watch mode works great.

Just stumbled across this as well after the fact.

USE --watch INSTEAD OF INSTALLING DENON!

Good post with the issue thread by Noah. There is a quick temporary workaround found in that thread. Basically instead of downloading from Deno.Land. Just download it from the github using this command line command:

deno install -qAf --unstable https://raw.githubusercontent.com/denosaurs/denon/main/denon.ts

If you're having trouble installing denon (because you have deno 1.7) you can follow this issue here: https://github.com/denosaurs/denon/issues/122

And in the meantime can run.. deno run --allow-net --unstable --watch hello.ts
