Yea, Scott skipped the step where he installed the starter kit.

Clone this and then you can follow along! git clone https://github.com/lifenautjoe/webpack-starter-basic

Also, the version of webpack in that starter kit is old, so you'll need an older version of "ts-loader" to work correctly with it. Install this version instead of the latest:

npm install --save-dev ts-loader@~8.2.0
